LocalSignal
For local marketing agencies

Their competitor is in ChatGPT's answer.
Your prospect isn't.

Run an AI-visibility audit on any local business in about a minute. You get a white-label report showing the exact questions their customers ask, whether AI names them, and which rival gets recommended instead.

Then, when they ask “so what do we do about it?” — you have a prioritised fix list built from the sources those answers actually cited. That is the part that turns a reply into a retainer.

  • Report ready in ~60 seconds
  • A prioritised fix list, not just a score
  • Your logo, not ours
  • Every claim backed by the raw answer

No card, no signup. Takes about 40 seconds.

Try it on a business you already know. Or on your own agency.

“We do SEO” stopped opening doors.

You already know the numbers your prospects don't care about. Rankings, impressions, domain authority. Meanwhile their actual customers have started asking an assistant “who's the best dentist near me?” and getting back one recommendation — not ten blue links.

Your outreach reads like everyone else's

Buyers can spot a templated agency email in two seconds. Generic wins nothing, and your reply rate shows it.

Clients are asking about AI in discovery calls

And most agencies still have no data, no report and nothing to sell when the question comes up.

The tools are built for national brands

Enterprise AI-visibility platforms track one big brand and are priced accordingly. None of them help you win a local plumber.

How it works

Four steps. The whole loop takes about five minutes per prospect.

  1. 01

Type a business name and city

No access to their website, no tracking pixel, no integration. Public information is all it takes — which means you can audit a prospect before you have ever spoken to them.

  2. 02

We ask the questions their customers ask

Up to 12 real buying questions — “best dentist in Austin”, “I need an emergency plumber today, who should I call?” — put to live answer engines with web search on.

  3. 03

You get the gap, in writing

How many of the answers named them, and a league table of the competitors named instead. Every claim links back to the raw answer and the sources it cited.

  4. 04

And the answer to “what do we do about it?”

A prioritised fix list per business, built from the directories and pages those answers actually cited — plus a one-page pitch summary for the call and ready-to-send outreach. This is the part that closes.

What lands in your prospect's inbox

Not a score out of 100 with no explanation. The actual question, the actual answer, and the name of the business that took their place.

What it actually changes

A first line you could not have guessed

“I asked ChatGPT for the best dentist in Austin. It named three practices. Yours wasn't one.” That is not a template, and it is checkable in ten seconds.

A reason for the meeting

The report ends on a gap, not a pitch. The natural next question from your prospect is “so what do we do about it?” — which is the meeting you wanted.

A new line item on existing retainers

The fastest money is not new logos. Run this across the clients you already have, show the gap, and attach AI visibility to the next renewal.

Proof your work is landing

Re-run monthly. When a client starts getting named, that is a screenshot in your reporting deck and a reason they stay.

It looks like your agency

Your logo, your colours, your contact details on every report. Nobody has to know LocalSignal exists.

Nothing to install at their end

No pixel, no CMS access, no API keys from the client. You can audit a prospect who has never heard of you.

We are new, and we are not going to pretend otherwise

There are no testimonials on this page because we do not have customers yet. You are early. The honest version of social proof right now is this: run the audit at the top of this page on a business you already know, and judge the output yourself. It takes a minute and costs nothing.

If you become one of our first ten customers, we will build the roadmap around what you need — and we will ask to publish your results here, with your permission, once you actually have some.

One price. One business. No subscription.

You are buying a deliverable, not another monthly tool. One business, audited properly, with the evidence attached.

AI Visibility Audit

You send one business — its name, city and category. We send back what the answer engines say about it, with the evidence, delivered in 72 hours.

  • An AI visibility score, always shown against its sample size
  • The exact buying questions we asked, with timestamps
  • Every raw answer, kept as evidence
  • The competitor table: who gets named instead, and how often
  • The sources each answer cited, ranked by how often
  • A prioritised “what to fix” list, each item tied to the evidence
  • A professional report you can share as a link or print
What it is not: this is a measurement, not a ranking service. We do not promise placement in an AI answer, and the report says plainly what it does not measure.

Several locations, or several clients?

Each business is its own audit at the same price. There is no bundle and no monthly plan on sale today — ask and we will run them, but we are not going to invent a package before this one has proven itself.

Questions you should be asking

Is this just asking ChatGPT a question I could ask myself?

You could ask one question, once, manually. The product asks up to twelve buying-intent questions across multiple answer engines, parses who gets named and in what order, ranks the competitors, stores the raw answers as evidence, formats it under your brand, and re-runs it monthly so you can show change over time. Doing that by hand for fifty prospects is a week of work.

AI answers change every time. Doesn't that make the score meaningless?

It makes a single answer meaningless, which is exactly why we sample many questions across engines and always report the score alongside the sample size — “named in 1 of 12” — with a timestamp and the exact prompts. We present it as sampled evidence at a point in time, never as a fixed ranking. Anyone who tells you they can give a local business a definitive, stable AI rank is overselling.

What if AI doesn't name any local businesses in my client's category?

Then the report says so, plainly. That is a real finding and often a useful one: it means the category is wide open. We would rather hand you an honest empty result than manufacture a competitor list you would get caught on.

Can my client tell the report came from you?

No, on every paid plan. Your logo, your colours, your contact details, your link. There is no LocalSignal branding on a white-label report.

Do I need access to my prospect's website or accounts?

No. Everything runs on the business name, city and category. That is deliberate — it is what lets you audit a prospect before you have any relationship with them.

How is this different from an SEO audit tool?

An SEO audit tells a business about their meta tags and page speed. This tells them a named local rival is being recommended to their customers and they are not. One is a technical checklist; the other is a conversation about lost revenue.

What happens when I hit my audit limit?

Audits stop until the period resets or you upgrade — we do not silently bill overages. Limits are set well above realistic usage; a tool that makes you ration prospecting is not worth keeping.

Does it send cold emails automatically?

No, and that is on purpose. It drafts personalised messages from the audit evidence and puts them in an approval queue for you to read, edit and send. We are not building spam infrastructure, and blasting unreviewed messages is how agencies burn their domain.

Pick a client. Run the audit. See what you find.

If the report tells you nothing you did not already know, you have lost sixty seconds. If it names a competitor your client will recognise, you have your next conversation.

No card, no signup. Takes about 40 seconds.
